First off, let me welcome you to my new blog The POTUS Heuristic. Heuristic is a term we use a bit in computer science, I'll quote Wikipedia's definition here:
"A heuristic is a method to help solve a problem, commonly informal. It is particularly used for a method that often rapidly leads to a solution that is usually reasonably close to the best possible answer. Heuristics are "rules of thumb", educated guesses, intuitive judgments or simply common sense."
Well, I've run my heuristic for POTUS in 2008, and it returned John McCain with a fitness score off the charts. In fact, I feel I'll likely never see another candidate for any office that I believe in as much as I do Senator John McCain. So now my goal is to convince as many people out there why we need John McCain.
I've been an active member of the McCainTalk.com and McCain08hq where I had a feature called "Scouring the Blogosphere for McCain". I will now run that feature on this blog.
"Scouring the Blogosphere for McCain" is a collection of posts from the grassroots blogs and overlooked blogs that are currently not a part of the McCain community. This is an effort to recognize the wide support that Senator McCain has and to hopefully connect some of these blogs into our McCain blogging community if possible. Occasionally, I'll include something from one of the bigger blogs (like GraniteGrok this week) if I feel its been overlooked. Sadly, I've been swamped with final projects at the end of the semester so many of these posts will not be as fresh as usual, but none should be older than 2 weeks.
Without further ado. . . .

No - sadly it was a manual effort. . .
I've got a lot for the next edition, but I haven't had time to edit it yet. . . Just took my qualifying exams this week. Also I'm still finishing a project from last semester (the best-laid plans you know) and am preparing a paper for submission to a major journal.
I'll probably get busy with this blog in the last week of January. I won't be taking classes this semester, so I'll have a little more time to do what I can to help.
I love your blog, very original.
Hey welcome aboard the Straight Talk Express!
While Mike Huckabee continues to play the role of Don Quixote (or is he Sancho Panza?), John McCain should concentrate on our real antagonists, Senators Obama and Clinton. I hope he emphasizes the former, because it's looking as if Obama will get the nomination.
Recently, Sharon sent out the FoxNews picture of an Obama office with a Cuban/Che Guevara flag. Of course, Obama's aversion to the American flag is well-known. Today, I reprinted the picture on my blog, and I've been receiving a lot of response, including from the media. You can see the picture and the links at my blog: http://camp2008victorya.blogspot.com
Obama is the farthest Left candidate ever to run for President (Howard Dean and John Edwards notwithstanding), and his relationships with George Soros and Moveon.org will be fascinating as the campaign unfolds. Barack, prepare to be in a world of hurt between now and November 4.
I will re-visit your blog frequently.

You are performing a real service with your "heuristic" approach.
Hi Fellow Supporter of John McCain. On my blog, I've written recently about Rush Limbaugh's endorsement of Alaska Govenor Sarah Palin for McCain-s V-P choice, new information from Texas about the race there, and finally about Barack Obama's bizarre support of infanticide (in the case of so-called "live birth abortions"). If you'd ever like to use any of my material, please feel free to do so. I'd only ask you to cite my blog at: http://camp2008victorya.blogspot.com. If I can ever offer any assistance to help you get your pro-McCain message out, please let me know. Comments are always welcome. All the best to you and your blog visitors.
